PDFOur goal at kindergarten is to learn through play. We promote a child initiated, child directed, and adult supported play based program.
Children learn many things that may not be immediately obvious. These things include problem solving, reasoning, negotiating, language, physical skills and imagination. We value the process of learning as much as the product. The interactions they experience and the support they receive as 4-5 years olds contribute to confidence as they move towards their prep year.
Our Kinder supports the development of broad lifelong skills in children, including:
- positive self-concept
- independent thought
- self-motivation
- positive attitude towards learning
- the ability to cope with change
